1. Third Person Singular – Adding S
For he, she, it, we add -s, -es, or -ies to the verb.
📌 Rule 1: Most verbs add -S
work → works, speak → speaks, play → plays, read → reads
📌 Rule 2: Verbs ending in -ch, -sh, -s, -x, -o add -ES
watch → watches, wash → washes, kiss → kisses, fix → fixes, go → goes
📌 Rule 3: Verbs ending in consonant + Y → change Y to I and add -ES
study → studies, cry → cries, fly → flies
📌 Rule 4: Verbs ending in vowel + Y → add -S
play → plays, say → says, buy → buys
📌 Rule 5: Irregular verbs
have → has, be → is, do → does
2. Adverbs of Frequency
always (100%) → I always drink coffee.
usually (90%) → She usually wakes up early.
often (70%) → They often go to the cinema.
sometimes (50%) → I sometimes eat pizza.
rarely (10%) → He rarely watches TV.
never (0%) → We never eat fast food.

💡 Adverbs of frequency come BEFORE the main verb, but AFTER “am/is/are”.
