I before E exceptions
weird, science, efficient, ancient, species, height, foreign, neither, vein, seize, leisure
Drop E exceptions (drop even before consonant)
argue → argument, true → truly, nine → ninth, awe → awful, judge → judgment (US)
Doubling consonant exceptions (UK vs US)
travel → travelled (UK) / traveled (US); label → labelled (UK) / labeled (US)
Change Y exceptions (y after vowel)
play → played (not plaid), say → saying, enjoy → enjoyed (keep y)
